Railflyer Model Prototypes

The GMDD Wide Cab replicates the General Motors Diesel Division of Canada “Safety Cab” applied to GP38-2, GP40-2, and SD40-2 locomotives manufactured for the Canadian National Railway and Go Transit. As the units are being retired from the Canadian National Railway, you can find them on many short-line railways throughout North American. The locomotives were also leased to several United States based roads during downturns in traffic up north.

We are providing an “All in the box” concept so you will not have to make additional purchases to complete this area of the locomotive. The cab is a single piece high quality injection mold with multi-media detail accessories and sub-assemblies.
